一、 活動重點及目的: 配合本校執行教育部第三期大學社會責任實踐計畫(USR),規劃與越南姊妹校海陽衛生醫藥科技大學協同辦理物理治療學生之短期教育訓練,讓越南學生認識台灣物理治療專業教育進行方式、及早體驗不同文化與制度下跨域整合之臨床工作角色,並藉急性與慢性或社區不同物理治療場域之參訪,培育越南物理治療未來專業人才,善盡台灣之世界責任。活動結束並將轉贈募集之物理治療臨床課程示範教具等給予越南海陽衛生醫藥科技大學。
二、 活動特色及執行情形:
活動的安排上,分別安排醫院及物理治療所實習、課堂旁聽以及校外參訪。 醫院及物理治療所實習: 醫院實習部分,本活動安排越南同學前往醫院心肺治療室以及骨科,讓越南同學去向醫院物理治療師學習,並且了解物理治療師在醫院體系中的角色。除了醫院實習外,我們也安排同學前往群耀物理治療所,向自行開業的物理治療師學習,了解醫院外的物理治療師負責的治療內容,讓同學可以更全面的看到物理治療師的工作。 課堂旁聽與校外參訪: 課堂旁聽的部分,我們安排越南同學旁聽物理治療系課程,與本校學生一同學習,除了可以增進知識,亦可以讓兩國學生進行文化交流。校外參訪的部分,我們首先安排越南學生參訪國家運動訓練中心,以增加同學在運動防護相關知識,另外安排學生走訪學校周邊以及旗津地區,實際觀察高雄的無障礙環境。
三、 活動之質量化指標: 越南學生剪輯的活動後心得的影片逐字稿 "In this video, I’d like to share my experience after two weeks of studying in Taiwan. First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the USR program at Kaohsiung Medical University. A special thank you goes to Dr. Hsin-Fan Hsiao and all the professors and instructors at KMU for your tremendous support throughout my time here. Let’s start with the learning environment. Kaohsiung Medical University is incredibly dynamic and modern. I was impressed to see the students participating actively in extracurricular activities, whether it was day or night. The facilities and equipment here are state-of-the-art, much more advanced than what I’m used to back home, which gave me some truly amazing hands-on experience. Next, I want to talk about what I learned. The quality of healthcare here is outstanding; it is quite different from what I experienced at my current university. At the hospital, I learned so many things. The professors introduced us to a wealth of knowledge and concepts that I hadn't had the chance to study in Vietnam yet. For someone without a prior background in this field, especially like me, the emphasis on cardiopulmonary care was like opening a door to an entirely new world. Honestly, the massive amount of knowledge and the new terminology made me a bit anxious at first. However, the deeper I dived into it, the more I became captivated by the strict logic behind the pathophysiology. What once seemed unfamiliar has now become my greatest motivation. I realized that mastering these introductory yet core concepts builds the solid foundation I need to be confident in my future medical practice. Once again, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the organizing committee and professors for your dedication. The practical value I gained from this course is a huge motivation for me to keep improving. I really hope to have the opportunity to return and participate in other advanced courses offered by your program in the near future."
