This workshop will:
explore cultural assets for medical education;
consider how creative resources can mitigate compassion challenges;
strategize for “cool empathy”;
examine notions of “creative survival” and “mutual recovery”;
identify opportunities for creative medical teaching and learning
By the end of the session, participants should will be able to determine how medical education can incorporate the health humanities for personal learning, pedagogy, clinical interventions and “Arts Modified Practice” (AMP).
