一、 活動重點及目的: 本次活動分為兩大主題,主題一由高醫借鏡之國際及標竿學校-澳洲格里斯大學(Griffith University),任教藥學院的Assoc. Prof. Gary Grant解說模擬藥局建置流程,從規模籌畫、軟硬體設備購置、運作流程到實務操作一一詳解;主題二邀請同校的Dr. Kwong Chan解說MaRIS概念與精神,及如何運用MaRIS教學原理進行課程規劃。受COVID-19疫情影響,兩場皆為澳洲講者和現場參與人員連線視訊。
[講者介紹] l Assoc. Prof. Gary Grant
Dr Grant, an Associate Professor in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmacy at Griffith University, has special interests in antibiotic therapy and the management of infectious diseases. His undergraduate and doctoral studies were completed at the University of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Dr Grant is widely published in a number of fields, including the quality use of medicines, device-associated infections, factors influencing the prescribing of antibiotics, and the systemic consequences of bacterial virulence factors. He is an accomplished speaker and has authored papers presented at a range of national and international conferences.
l Dr. Kwong Chan
Dr Kwong Chan is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education and the Internationalisation Lead of Griffith School of Medicine. He received his Medical training in Taiwan (Kaohsiung Medical University) and his PhD from Griffith University School of Applied Psychology, focusing on grief and loss support training. As a Thanatologist Kwong received his Master of Arts in Life and Death Studies from Nan Hua University in 2001. Kwong is also a holistic counsellor trained in Australia (2003). As the Stream Lead of Professional Communication and History Taking Stream in the Griffith MD program, Dr Chan introduced structured mindfulness practice into the School of Medicine in 2011, medical students have been able to apply mindfulness for exam preparation and performance anxiety management. Kwong's area of research in health education includes communication skills learning and teaching, application of mindfulness, health students' social media behaviour, admission selection, resilience building, reflective practice and development and implementation of contemplative pedagogy in health education.
